1. Securing The Date

Your wedding date can be secured before your trial with a £100 non-refundable booking fee, which will be deducted from the final invoice.

Arranging a trial does not reserve my services for your wedding day.

For all other bookings, special occasions and lessons, a £50 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your date. This will come off the final bill.

Only wedding trial dates can be subject to change with as much notice to you as possible. This is only if and when I receive new bookings that cannot be moved, such as weddings or photo shoots.

 

2. Deposit/Payment

Payment is to be made via bank transfer.

The trial is paid for at the time of trial by bank transfer and once the trial is complete it is non-refundable. 

The remaining balance of your wedding is to be paid in full one month (set out in the Payment Schedule) before your wedding.

Failure to pay the fee within the stated time can result in your wedding date being cancelled by me.

For all other bookings, special occasions and lessons, the remaining balance/fee is to be paid one week before your appointment. Failure to pay the fee within the stated time can result in your appointment being cancelled by me.

 

3. Responsibility of the Client

You, the client shall inform me, the makeup artist/hair stylist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. I cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to your failure to inform me of any known condition.

I reserve the right to refuse service to you or members of your wedding party for, but not limited to, anything contagious (for example cold sores and head-lice).

 

4. Cancellations

At any point you can cancel the wedding date by informing me in writing.

I will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however you will not be liable for any further payments.

You can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at full price.

All other bookings, special occasions and lessons can be cancelled at any time in writing. I will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however you will not be liable for any further payments.

You can cancel your booking at any point, however if appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at full price.

Cancellations by me due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of my obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given will result in a refund to you. No further compensation will be offered.

If I am unable to attend Event due to fire, flood, casualty, strike, civil disturbance, war, terrorism, my sickness, or other acts of God beyond the parties’ control, then I shall return all money paid by Client (including any retainer), and this Agreement shall immediately terminate.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond my control every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered on my part. You are strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.

 

5. Exclusivity

Exclusivity is guaranteed for my Gold and Platinum packages; therefore, I will not book any other client on the same morning. My wedding day schedule is to be agreed by both parties prior to your wedding date and must be kept to. I will leave at the time stated on the timetable, any time incurred over this is chargeable.

Exclusivity can be arranged for my Silver package if preferred. 

 

6. Photography

By signing, you agree that I may use any photography taken by me or your photographer for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to my website, marketing, promotions, trade shows and social media pages. Your photographer will be credited for any images used. 

For all other bookings, special occasions and lessons, I may use any photography taken by myself for publicity purposes, which include but are not limited to promotional marketing, my website and social media pages at the time of taking them.

 

7. Travel Expenses

Travel is charged after the first 10 miles at 55p per mile for trial and wedding day and all other bookings. I am based in Tunbridge Wells, my post code is TN4 8FB. This is based on a round trip, to and from locations.

All car parking expenses, toll and congestion charges incurred for ALL bookings will be recharged to you at cost.

All flights, train, taxi and accommodation incurred for ALL bookings will be recharged to you at cost.

 

8. Assistant Fee

If your wedding party size is more than 6 services and not workable within the timeframe given, I will be accompanied by an experienced assistant for which there will be an additional fee of £120.00.

 

9. Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are for special occasions and lessons only, they exclude bridal.

Each gift voucher is valid for 6 months. Requested dates are subject to availability.

No refunds given. One voucher per person, per booking.

 

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

HALL OF FAME’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSS, DAMAGE, OR INJURY ARISING UNDER OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT IS LIMITED TO THE FEES PAID BY CLIENT FOR THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL HALL OF FAME BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF CLIENT INFORMS HALL OF FAME OF CIRCUMSTANCES THAT WOULD GIVE RISE TO SUCH DAMAGES.
